Reason To Learn teachers have the ability and knowledge to teach any child, regardless of disability or past learning experiences.  Our teaching model comes from years of one-on-one experience with an incredibly diverse student population, from preschool to college.  Our students range from severely learning disabled to highly gifted.

Consult:  At the initial meeting, you meet the director of Reason To Learn.  She asks questions and gathers information about your child from reports, teachers and other professionals who work closely with your child.   Plan:  We create learning goals and an educational program most effective for your specific needs.  Lessons are unique for your child and prepared in advance.   Educate:  Depending on the program, we will work with your child anywhere from one hour a week to several hours a day to meet the goals.  Because we want our programs to be the most effective and efficient, the best course is often to start with neurofeedback to optimize learning and attention before beginning other academic remediation.   Assess: We constantly re-evaluate, assess and adjust the program to make sure that it is the most effective teaching method for your child.   Communicate:  Students learn why and how they are learning in order to achieve what they are learning.  Parents are regularly updated on progress.  If requested, we speak directly to the schools and other professionals working with your child to develop positive learning in any environment.
